Rapid Scan is a great option for private property owners or home buyers who wish to identify any building defects, however don't necessarily require a written report of our findings.

Our Rapid Scan option includes a thorough thermographic inspection of the property highlighting areas of concern such as:
 

 Water leaks and dampness

 Missing of ineffective insulation

 Live termites

 Heat loss / cold air infiltration

 Electrical switchboard faults

Another advantage of a Rapid Scan is it gives you the option to upgrade to Rapid Scan Plus+ if we detect more sigificant issues that may result in insurance claims and/or tradesmen repairs.

The downside to the Rapid Scan is that it doesn’t include the photos or a written report. The property owner (or representative) must be present at the time of inspection to view the live thermal images on the camera, as well as view the confirmation moisture readings on our moisture detection equipment.

There are several reasons why our clients may opt for the Rapid Scan Plus+  option including:

 Upgrade from Rapid Scan due to anomalies detected such as water leaks, termites, structural defects, electrical faults, heat loss, cold air infiltration etc. The included comprehensive written report can then be forwarded to your insurance company or tradesman doing the repair work.

 A requirement from their insurance provider.

 To use as a marketing tool when selling their home.

 To gain a more in-depth understanding of the properties state of health, following a building report when purchasing a new property.
